The entire community was invited to come out and skate with us on Dec. 10, from 6:30 – 9:00. We thoroughly enjoyed sharing the ice with everyone, as well as providing speed skates for those adventurous enough to try! Keep on Skating Canada!
Hot chocolate, snacks, and Canada 150 gifts rounded out the day!

So far this season, we have had skaters attend a total of five pre-season, regional, and provincial series meets across the province. There is one more regional meet (Quinte, Dec 10) to go before Christmas, and we are sending our largest contingent yet – 20 skaters. Checkout our Facebook page for more pics and videos!

Tue Oct. 31 6-7 pm : All Masters, Y2 and Comp. If you can’t make all of it, please come for some.
Wed Nov 1 4:30 – 5:40 pm – All Y1, Y2 and Comp
Please note that LEARN TO SKATE is unaffected, so we are looking forward to seeing all our volunteers and skaters on Wed at 5:45 as per normal.

The webmaster has relied on Facebook communication a bit, but wanted to catch up here and acknowledge that our skaters have participated in pre-season meets (Ottawa, Kitchener) , Provincial Series Meet #1 (Cambridge), Regional Series Meet #1 (Kingston) and a Long track camp and competition in Ste. Foy. A great start to the season, with excellent personal best times and placements. So very proud of all the skaters.
Good Luck to skaters Andrew, Emma, Cameron, Nolan and Julia, who will compete this weekend in Gloucester for Provincial Series #2.
Some of our skaters took advantage of the “open” nature of the pre-season meets and went to the Kitchener Pre-Season Open Meet.
Andrew – finished 5th in his division.
Nolan Roney – finished 4th in his division.
Cameron MacKay – 15th in his division.
All three racers had personal bests (PB’s) over the 2 day meet – Great Job!
